Ms. Jojo Chan
Executive Director
Tai Hing Group Holdings Ltd

Ms. Chan is the Executive Director of Tai Hing Group Holdings Ltd. (太興集團) which is a multi-brand casual dining restaurant group originated in Hong Kong for 30 years, with over 200 restaurants in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Macau and Taiwan. She is mainly responsible for overall strategic planning, including capital financing, investor relationship management, brand building, marketing, talent management and corporate compliance.

Ms. Chan actively serves both the community and the catering service industry including, among others, currently serving as member of the board of directors of the Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants and Related Trades, committee member of the Industry Advisory Committee on Long Term Business of the Insurance Authority in Hong Kong, member of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal Panel in Hong Kong and member of the Advisory Board of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been a member of the Consumer Council in Hong Kong and the Griffith Business School’s Bachelor of Business (Hong Kong) Industry Advisory Committee.

Ms. Chan has garnered the “Leaders of Excellence 2014” award presented by Capital Magazine, “Outstanding Leader Award 2017” by Weekend Weekly and Economic Digest as well as “Asian Outstanding Leaders Awards for Women 2018” by the Asian College of Knowledge Management, in recognition of her tremendous contributions to the industry and the economy over the years.

Mr. Neil Waters

Swire Coca-Cola

Mr Neil Waters holds the dual role of General Manager and Director of Swire Coca-Cola Hong Kong plus the role of Executive Director, Hong Kong and Taiwan of Swire Coca-Cola. In this capacity Mr. Waters is in charge of the day to day management of the HK business for Swire Coca Cola plus identifying and implementing strategies and synergies between these two Greater China markets.

A native of Australia, Mr. Waters began his career in the beverage industry as a management trainee for Coca-Cola Bottlers Sydney , in 1982. He later joined The Coca-Cola Company in Australia and was promoted to the position of Brand Manager.

Mr. Waters left the Coca-Cola business in 1986 and entered the alcoholic beverage industry where he held a variety of management positions for both Allied Domecq and International Distillers and Vintners. Mr Waters has been in Asia since 1993 , when he moved to Hong Kong as the Regional Marketing Director for Allied Domecq.

Mr Waters first joined Swire Beverages (now Swire Coca-Cola) as Sales and Marketing Director of Swire Coca-Cola Hong Kong in 1998. In the past 27 years, since first arriving in Asia , Mr Waters has lived & worked in HK , Singapore , Shanghai , Xiamen and Taiwan.

In addition to his initial role in Swire Coca-Cola HK , Mr. Waters has held multiple senior management roles while at Swire Coca-Cola, including COO of Shenmei Beverages , Shanghai , Director and General Manager of Swire Coca-Cola Beverages Xiamen and Luquan Industries & was most recently, the Director and General Manager of Swire Coca-Cola Taiwan, before being promoted to his current post.

Mr. Waters has a bachelor of business degree from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

Mr. Adam Hershman
General Manager
TUMI Greater China, APAC Regional Distribution and Travel Retail

Adam Hershman is the General Manager for Greater China, APAC Distribution and Travel Retail for leading international premium travel lifestyle brand TUMI. In this role, Adam is responsible for building the brand and overseeing the business in the region. Adam possesses a strong knowledge of the TUMI brand as well as the retail environment and consumer behavior in APAC.

Adam holds a diverse background of international business experience, starting his career in investment banking in New York and holding several roles over the last 11 years in the retail space ranging from Product Marketing, Buying, Planning and Store Operations within Asia and the United States.

Adam joined TUMI in 2013 as a Product Manager for Men’s Products in New York. As an accomplished strategist for leading global brand development and establishing clear vision for the categories, Adam quickly ascended to become the Director of Product Management and Licensing assuming global responsibility for many of TUMI’s most iconic and technical products. Highly credentialed with a strong ability to customize strategy and understand consumer behavior by market, combined with his strong track record in running retail business, Adam was appointed to the position of TUMI General Manager Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau in October 2016. In 2018, he was promoted to his current role, adding APAC Distribution and Travel Retail to his Greater China remit.

In this role, Adam led 3 award-winning, out-of-store retail experiences for the TUMI brand in APAC: The TUMI House (2018), The TUMI Lodge (2018) and The TUMI Loft (2019). For these installations TUMI received over ten industry accolades recognising the brand’s ability to create breakthrough, technology-driven experiences for the region’s customers, allowing them to explore and engage with TUMI on another level. Awards included: ‘Campaign of the Year 2019’, ‘Best Use of Technology’ and ‘Best PR Campaign – Consumer Brand’ awarded by Marketing Magazine to name just a few. Adam was also named one of the top 5 “Innovative Retail Leaders in Hong Kong” in 2019 by Inside Retail Magazine.

Adam further spearheaded the selection of Hollywood Star Chris Pratt as the face of TUMI’s 2019 seasonal campaigns for Asia and Middle East, a partnership that kicked off with the star’s appearance in Hong Kong in April 2019.

Prior to joining TUMI, Adam held positions at Christian Dior Couture in New York and luxury travel retailer DFS Group in Hong Kong. Adam spent over 5 years with DFS accumulating extensive Greater China and Asia experience in roles covering liquor, accessories, jewelry, watches, and perfumes categories.

Adam earned a BA in International Relations from Colgate University. He is bilingual with full business proficiency in French.

“Live in Excellence, Forwarding the Best.” Suki Cheung, The Champion for Public Speaking and Distinguished Salesperson Award, has been known for walking this talk.

Being the Associate Director (Sales & Marketing) in SF Express, Suki directs sales and marketing strategies, solutions selling, customer experience management and key growth strategies across the enterprise. Under her leadership, the team is intensifying its focus on creating distinctive customer value through products and solutions like cross border e-commerce, fulfilment bundle with freight solutions that align its broad capabilities for commercial innovation.

Before SF Express, Suki had been with UPS Parcel Delivery Service Limited for 12 years as well as SEKO Logistics as General Manager for around 3years, taking care business strategies, product development, market segmentation, customer service and talent development.

Suki also active in serving the community and professional institutions. She had been the Charter Ex Official Member for Belt & Road International Exchange Association, President for Junior Chamber International Queensway; ASEAN Committee Chairman for Chamber of Hong Kong Logistics as well as Deputy Steering Committee for Wofoo Social Enterprise. With the strong presence and network in Mainland China and ASEAN Countries, she is able to understand customer challenges and business needs around the globe.

Mr. Sunny Ho

The Hong Kong Shippers’ Council

 Mr. HO Lap Kee, Sunny, MH, J.P., is the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Shippers’ Council. As he now shapes the thrust of the Shippers’ Council mandate as the voice of the Hong Kong shippers, he has considerable experience in aspects of trade and transport of goods. Mr. HO is a member of the Logistics Industry Training Advisory Committee, the Hong Kong Town Planning Board, the Private Columbaria Appeal Board, and two sub-committees of the Hong Kong Maritime & Port Board of the Hong Kong SAR Government. He has been a member of the Logistics Development Council, the Port Operations Committee, the Dangerous Goods Standing Committee for several years and Chairman of the Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association for 1993-1995. He is the current Chairman of Hong Kong Logistics Management Staff Association, Fellow and Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) in Hong Kong, Vice President of CILT International, a member of the Transport & Shipping Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, Logistics Services Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Hong Kong Taiwan Business Co-operation Committee, Advisor of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of International Trade Guangzhou Sub-Council, and Advisor of the Shenzhen Ports & Harbour Association. I spent 35+ years in the it industry mainly in the retail sector and had served fmcg, health & beauty, consumer electronics, wine businesses, and now i am a cio ( customer-centric, with integrity in my mind, and always optimistic ) of a fashion retailing group

My job is mainly a people-related job, not a technology-related job, because i have to deal with lots of staff in the mis department and also i have to manage very high expectations and tough target from the management

I am more an in-house change management agent because there are plenty of people and business change challenges, and at the end of day, it goes back to making the business “better, simpler with business values

I love sharing and that’s why I am here today to share our company initiative on Smart Data Management.

Abstract of Presentation

I would like to share what our company is doing in next 9-12 months on an overall initiative around online-to-offline, in which an enterprise data portal will be built from scratch along with a digital asset management solution to integrate the erp, wms, ecom web store and mobile app, wechat, crm, and bi operations.

Our objective is to solve the current pains in different business areas in handling data, particularly on plu and article data, and to allow the entire business to have one common data repository

We suffer a lot in managing data, different departments like buying, merchandizing, logistics, e-commerce, procurement, cs, marketing, etc are heavily relying on good data management, they need different data for different purposes, in our business operations. The root cause was when we did our erp in 2014 and our O2O in 2017, we had not focused on governing the source and integrity of plu data and we had allowed free flow of excel info into our main stream ERP system without proper data management, data attributes and data requirements from different areas were not covered, or even not being addressed at all

We start to realize that data management is crucial to boost business efficiency in providing timely, accurate data with integrity. We need a data management tool and we need data governance

I.T is currently engaging gs1hk in an enterprise data portal and today I am here to share this as a live case study.
